Mitie Landscapes is seeking a Gritting Operative to join our winter services team in Guildford. You will grit on various sites, drive a company vehicle with a gritting hopper, and ensure salt is distributed safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates enjoy outdoor work, are flexible and agile, and comfortable using smartphones to coordinate tasks. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

Qualifications

Must hold a full UK driving licence.
Experience with gritting or winter services is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Gritting at multiple sites within your regional area.
Drive a company vehicle with a gritting hopper.
Refill van with rock salt for distribution.
Perform duties safely and in a timely manner.
Enjoy working outdoors and in varied weather conditions.
Be prepared to work in a flexible, agile environment.
