Job summary

A specialist recruitment firm is seeking Semi Skilled Grinders for an industrial outage in South Wales. The role involves using abrasive wheels to remove sharp edges and weld splatter from steelwork on site, and may include additional laboring tasks. Suitable candidates should hold a CCNSG card, and an abrasive wheels certificate is an advantage. A commitment to 10-12 hour shifts, including weekends, is required. This position is expected to last 6-8 weeks, starting from September 2nd, 2024.

Hours: 10-12hr shifts, Mon-Sun, 13 on 1 off

Start Date: 02.09.24

Duration: 6-8 weeks

PAYE Pay: + Lodge, travel + bonus

The Role

Our client currently has a requirement for an additional 15+ Semi Skilled Grinders to assist with an industrial outage in the South Wales area. Duties will include working alongside platers and welders and using abrasive wheels tools to remove sharp edges and weld splatter on steelwork on site. Additional duties may include moving materials, labouring etc.
