Job summary

A leading company in the renewable energy sector is seeking a Grid Compliance Engineer to support projects ensuring compliance with distribution and transmission requirements. This remote position includes occasional site visits and requires expertise in Grid Code and experience in renewable energy projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of Grid Code and Grid Compliance.
• Understanding of electrical system studies and EMT/RMS models.

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance interfaces with NESO, TO, and DNO throughout project phases.
• Handle BMU and metering registration processes.
• Produce and review technical documentation and external reports.

Job description

Location: REMOTE with occasional site visits and team meetings once a month

Contract Type: Until 31st December 2025, subject to extension

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 5 days

Role Overview

As a Grid Compliance Engineer, you will support renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with distribution and transmission connection requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage compliance interfaces with NESO, TO, and DNO throughout project phases.
• Handle BMU and metering registration processes.
• Produce and review technical documentation and external reports.
• Manage weekly reports and project management tools.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of Grid Code and Grid Compliance.
• Understanding of electrical system studies and EMT/RMS models.
• Experience managing risks in renewables environment.
