A leading company is seeking a Grid Compliance Engineer to support renewable energy projects in Portsmouth. This role involves ensuring compliance with distribution and transmission connection requirements, with a focus on managing various interfaces and documentation. Qualifications

• Experience in the renewables industry required.
• Knowledge of Grid Code and Grid Compliance.
• Understanding of EMT/RMS models.

Responsibilities

• Produce and review technical documentation.

Job Description:

Location: REMOTE with occasional site visits and team meetings 1x a month

Contract Type: Until 31st December 2025, subject to extension

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 5 days

Role Overview

As a Grid Compliance Engineer, you will support renewable energy projects by ensuring compliance with distribution and transmission connection requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage compliance interfaces with NESO, TO, and DNO across project phases.
• Handle BMU and metering registration processes for projects.
• Produce and review technical documentation and external reports.
• Manage weekly reports and project management tools.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in the renewables industry required.
• Knowledge of Grid Code and Grid Compliance.
• Understanding of electrical system studies and EMT/RMS models.
• Experience managing risks in renewables environments.
