Within Amazon, the Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is responsible for creating inspiring spaces for Amazonians. The diverse team manages Amazon’s corporate offices in over 60 countries, providing expertise in real estate transactions, business partnering, space planning, design and construction, capital investment, facility maintenance, and operations, all aimed at enhancing the employee experience and fostering a thriving culture.

The EMEA Communications Manager will develop and execute a regional communication strategy aligned with GREF's strategic objectives and customer goals. Responsibilities include creating regional content for local dissemination and global campaigns, managing inbound and outbound communication channels, and analyzing response rates to ensure high-quality, compliant communication that improves employee experience.

The ideal candidate is independent, thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in prioritization, and can develop creative solutions to communication challenges. They should be able to articulate complex issues clearly and diplomatically, engaging with leaders at all levels, and innovating methods to increase engagement across communication channels. Collaboration with the broader team to develop best practices is essential.

This role is part of GREF’s Global Transformation & Insights team, a group characterized by innovation, customer obsession, ownership, and collaboration. We value solutions-oriented team players who are comfortable in ambiguity and proactive in their approach.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement customer communication and engagement plans, approaches, and tools.
  2. Manage internal tools and communication channels (e.g., wikis, posters, presentations).
  3. Serve as SME and strategic contributor for post-move engagements, focus groups, or pulse initiatives.
  4. Review and improve regional GREF communication channels for consistency and visibility.
  5. Collaborate with GREF service lines to evolve communication plans and support change management.
  6. Measure and adjust communication effectiveness regularly.
  7. Drive innovative solutions and best practices in customer-facing and internal communications.
  8. Coordinate with PR, HR, Branding, and Legal teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
  9. Align communication strategies with APAC and AMER teams for global consistency.
  10. Provide executive communication support and drive regional employee engagement initiatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing or Communications.
  • Extensive experience managing employee-facing, local, and global corporate communications across diverse regions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in workplace and employee engagement communications.
  • Skills in program and project management, including change management.
  • Strong attention to detail and stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Experience in Digital Marketing, campaign management, and brand recognition.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to engage with remote teams.
