Job Description:

Within Amazon, The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is responsible for creating inspiring spaces for Amazonians. The team manages Amazon’s corporate offices in over 60 countries, providing expertise in real estate transactions, space planning, design, construction, and facility operations to enhance employee experience and support Amazon's culture.

The EMEA Communications Manager will develop regional communication strategies aligned with GREF's objectives, creating content for local and global campaigns. The role involves managing inbound communication channels, analyzing response rates, and ensuring high-quality outbound messaging that aligns with GREF strategies to improve employee experience.

The ideal candidate is independent, thrives under pressure, excels at prioritization, and can develop creative solutions to communication challenges. They should be able to articulate complex issues clearly, diplomatically engage stakeholders, and foster consensus. The role requires inventiveness in increasing engagement and collaborating across teams to share best practices.

This position is part of GREF’s Global Transformation & Insights team, characterized by innovation, customer obsession, ownership, and collaboration. The team values big thinking, speed, ambiguity tolerance, and solutions orientation.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement customer communication and engagement strategies.
  2. Manage internal tools and communication channels.
  3. Serve as SME for post-move engagements, focus groups, and pulse initiatives.
  4. Review and enhance regional communication channels for consistency and visibility.
  5. Collaborate with service lines to evolve communication plans and support change management.
  6. Measure and adjust communication effectiveness.
  7. Drive innovation and best practices in customer and internal communications.
  8. Coordinate with PR, HR, Branding, and Legal teams for alignment and compliance.
  9. Ensure global consistency by aligning with APAC and AMER teams.
  10. Provide executive communication support and drive regional engagement initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing or Communications.
  • Experience managing employee-facing corporate communications globally.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in workplace and employee engagement communications.
  • Program and project management skills, including change management.
  • Attention to detail and stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Skills in Digital Marketing, campaign management, and branding.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to remote teams.
