Job summary

Pinnacle Group Limited in Benfleet is seeking a diligent Grounds Maintenance Operative/Greenkeeper to keep outdoor spaces well-maintained and visually appealing. You will join teams caring for grounds on sites across the Castle Point area.

The role mainly covers Woodside Park, Benfleet, including mowing, hedge trimming, planting and landscape upkeep of grass verges, public gardens and play areas. You will need fitness and a strong work ethic to deliver safe, attractive environments.

Qualifications

• Full clean UK Driving Licence.
• PA1/PA6 Pesticide Licences would be desirable.
• Experience in using gardening power tools.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and safety procedures.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Fine turf preparation and renovation for bowls croquet cricket pitch and putt.
• General sports prep and renovation for football, rugby, tennis and MUGAs; include goalposts lining and placement.
• General grounds maintenance: grass cutting, debris removal, hedge and shrub trimming.
• Plant shrubs, trees and bulbs.
• Use of gardening equipment, powered hand tools and ride-on machinery.
• Plan seasonal works and ensure tools, equipment and materials are ready.
