Job summary

Pinnacle Group, a leading UK private sector housing and neighbourhood services provider, is looking for a diligent Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Soft Facilities Management team in the Cambridge area. The role involves mowing, hedge trimming, planting and general landscape upkeep across housing sites in Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Essex.

Hours are 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday, with travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• At least basic grounds maintenance experience and a practical knowledge of garden care.
• Relevant health and safety knowledge and compliance
• A current full driving licence and ability to travel between sites as required

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns, trim hedges, plant and weed beds to keep housing sites tidy and attractive.
• Drive company vehicles and transport plant, machinery and equipment between sites.
• Carry out general maintenance of grounds, including debris removal and litter clearance.
• Salt and grit pathways to keep pedestrian routes safe in adverse weather.
• Assist with maintenance of gardening machinery and vehicles.
