Job description

Job Opening: Greenkeeper

Location: Hatchford Brook Golf Centre & Gym, Coventry Rd, Birmingham B26 3PY

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Closing Date: 18th June 2024

Key Duties

1. Setting up the golf course for play, including cutting playing surfaces, changing holes, and bunker maintenance.
2. Ensuring the courses are maintained in excellent condition to exceed guest and visitor expectations.
3. Performing aeration and greens renovations according to annual plans.
4. Adhering to Mytime Active's health and safety policies, performing duties with full regard to safety practices.
5. Safely operating a wide range of golf course machinery.
6. Undertaking specific training on machinery and work practices.
7. Collaborating with the team to cover all greenkeeping tasks and rotating across equipment to manage course setup and maintenance.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
