We're looking for a Project Co-ordinator to help shape the future of conservation grazing across the Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape, supporting nature recovery in one of England's most important protected landscapes.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development of a new Conservation Grazing Hub centred at Bank House Farm. Working alongside National Trust colleagues, Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape partners, consultants, graziers and local land managers, you'll help co-ordinate a programme that supports nature recovery across this nationally significant landscape. Bringing together people, organisations and expertise, you'll help develop a long-term and sustainable approach to conservation grazing that benefits both people and nature.
This role is part of the Arnside & Silverdale Landscape Connections project and is made possible with funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, thanks to National Lottery players.
For more information about the role and project, please see the Job Prospectus attached to this vacancy.
Based At Bank House Farm in the heart of the Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape, you'll join the National Trust Countryside Team and report to the Countryside Manager.
You'll work closely with Rangers, countryside specialists, conservation grazing organisations, consultants, volunteers, graziers and community groups. Together, you'll help develop practical solutions that support nature recovery and create a sustainable future for conservation grazing across the landscape.
This is a varied role that combines project co-ordination, partnership working, stakeholder engagement and practical delivery. One day you may be organising workshops and site visits with project partners, and the next coordinating habitat improvements, infrastructure works or volunteer activities at Bank House Farm.
The role includes regular travel across the Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape, including visits to National Trust properties, conservation grazing sites and partner organisations. Occasional evening and weekend working may also be required to support meetings, engagement events and project activities.
