Job summary

Manpower seeks a Grave Digging Operative in Warwick to handle grave preparation, excavation and backfilling while maintaining cemetery grounds with care and respect. The role includes supporting grounds maintenance and upholding safety protocols.

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an hourly rate of £13; permanent, full-time contract. A valid UK driving license is essential and training may be provided for required certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with cemetery work and burial processes, with formal burial training.
• COTS certification is beneficial but training can be provided by our client.
• 360 Excavator & Dumper experience is beneficial.
• Ability to help with grounds maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, excavate and backfill graves with care and respect.
• Oversee general maintenance of cemetery grounds to stay tidy and well-kept.
• Ensure operations run smoothly while upholding professionalism and dignity.
• Comply with safety policies and environmental standards.
