Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED in the UK seeks a skilled Graphics Technician to join the Paint & Graphics team. This role supports the preparation, production and application of high-quality graphics and decals for race car components in a fast-paced F1 environment.

You will ensure colour accuracy, brand compliance and timely delivery for both factory and trackside graphics, with responsibilities including component preparation, decals production, colour monitoring and trackside stock management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as graphics installer in fast-paced environments.
• Experience applying vinyl graphics to composite components.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications for graphics requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean carbon fibre components prior to graphics application.
• Produce and finish high-specification graphics and decals.
• Monitor decal colours for consistency across the season.
• Carry out quality inspections to ensure brand standards and defect-free graphics.
• Support race team by managing graphics stock and trackside requests.

• Collaborate with Head of Paint & Graphics, Head of Brand Identity and production teams.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Graphics Technician to join our Paint & Graphics team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced Formula One environment, supporting the preparation, production and application of high-quality graphics and decals for race car components.

Working to demanding deadlines, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, colour accuracy and brand compliance across all graphic applications, both factory-based and trackside.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean carbon fibre and composite components prior to the application of graphics and livery.


• Produce, prepare and finish high-specification graphics and decals using printers, cutters, laminators and associated equipment.


• Monitor decal colours to ensure consistent colour matching throughout the season.


• Carry out quality inspections to ensure all graphics meet brand standards and are free from defects.


• Support race team requirements by managing graphics stock replenishment and trackside requests.


• Book trackside requirements through the AEI booking system.


• Work collaboratively with the Head of Paint & Graphics, Head of Brand Identity, Production and Race Team personnel.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience as a graphics installer, ideally within a high-performance or fast-paced manufacturing environment.


• Extensive hands-on experience applying vinyl graphics, wraps and paint protection films to composite components.


• Strong knowledge of graphics production processes and finishing techniques.


• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Roland printers, cutters and associated graphics software.


• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications relating to graphics requirements.
