Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED is seeking an Electronics Integration Engineer for our Enstone facility. You will lead 3D design, routing and integration of electrical components on the race car in compliance with F1 rules, and generate installation manuals and documentation to ensure correct assembly.

The role requires a degree in engineering and strong problem-solving, with Catia V5/3DX experience preferred; NX training support is available if needed.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or equivalent in engineering.
  • Strong engineering principles and problem-solving fundamentals.
  • Experience with CAD for automotive/motorsport is preferred (Catia V5/3DX).
  • Willingness to learn NX if needed and to undertake training.

Responsibilities

  • 3D design, integration and routing of all electrical components on and off the car in line with F1 regulations.
  • Produce installation manuals and documentation from CAD data to ensure correct installation.
  • Create accurate manufacturing drawings and documentation; support future car programmes and development technologies.

You will be using CAD data to produce installation manuals and associated documentation to ensure the electrical components and assemblies are installed as design intent producing consistent and accurate manufacturing drawings and documentation. Additional activities will include working on future car programmes along with the implementation of development technologies.**Who we want:**We are looking to enhance our talented team with someone who has previous experience, ideally within F1 or another high-level motorsport. You should be educated to degree level or equivalent in Engineering and have a solid base knowledge of engineering first principles.It would be ideal if you had previous CAD experience with Catia V5/3DX, but we will support with training if NX or similar is your expertise.We need someone who is self-motivated, analytical, and a pragmatic decision-maker capable of working with minimal supervision.
