Job summary

Aquilo Recruitment is seeking a standout Graphic Designer to join an in-house creative team at one of Hull's leading manufacturers. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio and can demonstrate high-quality print and digital design, while aligning with brand guidelines.

Reporting to the Head of Creative, you will produce materials for campaigns, events, and social media, collaborate with marketing, and stay abreast of design trends to deliver on time and with impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years graphic design experience.
• Strong portfolio with high-quality work.
• Advanced Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Sharp eye for detail and proofreading ability.
• Solid understanding of brand guidelines and application.
• Creative flair, originality and strong visual judgement.
• Proactive, self-starting attitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality printed materials across multiple brands.
• Create digital assets for online and social media campaigns.
• Apply brand guidelines consistently and accurately.
• Develop new design concepts, layouts, and creative solutions.
• Liaise with external printers and suppliers.
• Deliver work to deadline without compromising quality.
• Proofread outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to align outputs.
• Contribute positively as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Stay up to date with design trends and emerging technologies.
• Support wider team tasks as required.

Aquilo recruitment are working in partnership with a number one market leading and w are looking for a standout designer to join our in-house creative team at one of Hull s leading manufacturers. Experience matters, but talent matters more. We re open to candidates at all stages of their career, provided you can demonstrate strong ability and a passion for great design ideally in both print and digital.

Reporting to the Head of Creative, you will support the development of marketing concepts across print and digital, including artwork for campaigns, events, and vehicle graphics and ensure brand guidelines and project briefs are followed.

The Ideal Candidate has:

• A minimum of three years professional graphic design experience
• A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality, impactful design work
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• A sharp eye for detail, including strong proofreading ability
• A solid understanding of brand guidelines and how to apply them effectively
• Creative flair, originality, and strong visual judgement
• A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to take initiative
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong organisational and project management skills

Desirable:

• Experience with After Effects or other animation/video software
• A passion for digital marketing and creating engaging, standout content
