Job summary

The Royal Ballet School is seeking a Development Manager to support growth of trust and foundation partnerships funding core annual programmes and new projects. You will lead research and funding applications, and deliver impact reporting across the School’s work, while collaborating with the Development Team on donor stewardship and campaigns.

The role is a fixed-term maternity cover with 35 hours per week, hybrid working, based at Upper School, Covent Garden, with remote work option discussed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience securing and managing multi-year grants from trusts and foundations.
• Ability to develop compelling fundraising proposals and reports.
• Experience using Salesforce to manage donor data.
• Strong research skills to identify new funder opportunities.
• Excellent stakeholder and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow trust and foundation partnerships to fund core programmes.
• Lead on research and funding applications to trusts and foundations.
• Deliver impact reporting on healthcare, education and artistic outputs.
• Collaborate with the Development Team on donor stewardship events and communications.
• Prepare high-quality funding proposals, financial data and case studies.
• Maintain timely records of approaches and grants received in CRM.
