Job summary

BTG Recruitment is seeking a Finance Assistant for a Grantham based role within an established manufacturing business. You'll support the Finance Manager and Finance Director across purchase and sales ledgers, cash book reconciliations and weekly payroll using Sage.

You will handle supplier queries, chase customer payments and help with accounts administration. The role suits an organised candidate with Excel skills and a practical, hands-on approach, willing to contribute across the finance

Responsibilities

• Processing purchase invoices, reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries.
• Maintaining the sales ledger and chasing outstanding customer payments.
• Maintaining the cash book and completing weekly reconciliations.
• Preparing weekly payroll using Sage and helping monitor time and attendance.
• Liaising with customers and suppliers.
• Supporting the wider finance team with accounts administration and other duties.
