Join Our Talent Pool for Senior Funding Analysts (Grant Writer/Editors)

Are you an experienced and passionate writer seeking a remote-first opportunity where your skills make a significant impact? At Grantify, we're always on the lookout for skilled professionals who are motivated to contribute to our mission of simplifying the funding process for businesses and innovative ideas. We hire for our Senior Funding Analyst roles (externally advertised as Grant Writer/Editors) on a quarterly basis, and we're building a talent pool of interested candidates to connect with when these roles reopen.

About the Role

As a Senior Funding Analyst at Grantify, you’ll play a key role in converting deals related to grants and similar initiatives. Reporting to our Lead Consultant, you'll review and edit grant proposals, collaborate closely with applicants, and ensure the highest standards of quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

• Grant Review and Editing: Assess and enhance grant proposals for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with guidelines.
• Communication and Collaboration: Work directly with applicants and collaborate with the Business Development team for comprehensive grant applications.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain high-standard processes and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Research and Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and funding opportunities to refine our processes.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records and generate reports on grant outcomes.

About You:

• Exceptional command of the English language (written and verbal).
• Interest in tech, innovation, and STEM-related content.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong understanding of business contexts, problems, and objectives.
• Self-motivated, with excellent time management and a proactive, action-oriented approach.
• Experience with public grants in technology (desirable).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools such as Basecamp, Trello, or Monday.com (desirable).

Compensation

• We pay a base salary of £40,000.

To be eligible for this position, you must be based in the United Kingdom and have the legal right to work here. Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future, including extensions or support for existing temporary visas.

Our Hiring Process

When our hiring process begins:

1. Writing Task: Successful candidates will receive a timed writing task, scheduled at a convenient day and time for you. This task is evaluated anonymously by our team.
2. Final Interview: Candidates who pass the writing task will be invited to a one-hour interview where you'll learn more about the role and our team. This interview includes a role-play exercise, with preparation materials sent 60 minutes ahead of the session.
3. Decision and Offer: Following the interview, we will decide whether to proceed with an offer.

We strive for efficiency during the hiring process, but please note that joining our talent pool does not guarantee immediate communication. Once we begin discussing and finalising hiring numbers for the team, we’ll reach out to suitable candidates.
