Job summary

UKRI Funding Services in Swindon is seeking a Service Performance & Improvement Specialist to support end-to-end grant processes and drive continuous improvement across UKRI funding services.

The role provides SME-level expertise, facilitates workshops, and develops training, operating procedures and management information reporting. Hybrid working (minimum 2 days in the office) is available and the contract is fixed-term for 23 months.

Qualifications

• GCSE level or above or relevant experience.
• Good understanding of end-to-end Grants process.
• Proven technical skills across Microsoft software packages and grants processing systems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with data extraction and analysis.
• Experience of stakeholder engagement at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Providing support for small to medium sized projects and improving processes end-to-end.
• Ensuring up-to-date documentation for procedures and rules.
• Assisting with workshops and training.
• Minute writing for senior meetings and admin support.
• Supporting Grants Pay Run queries with the Grants Finance System (GFS).
• Producing management information and ad hoc reports on schedule.
