Job summary

Quokka Education is partnering with a leading Hampshire secondary school in Winchester to offer graduates the chance to gain valuable classroom experience as Learning Support Assistants and Cover Supervisors. You will work during school hours, with induction and tasters to help you observe and learn before taking on more responsibility.

There are both full-time and part-time placements, with competitive PAYE pay and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• No previous school experience required.
• Attitude and willingness to learn are valued.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students.

Responsibilities

• Support students in lessons as a Learning Support Assistant.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons as a Cover Supervisor when ready.

What You'll Be Doing

Wherever possible, we'll arrange induction and taster days so you can observe experienced teachers, understand how classrooms work and get familiar with the school's routines and expectations.

You’ll have the chance to build your confidence before taking on more responsibility.
