Job summary

Pick Everard in London is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer – Water to join our expanding Water Civil Engineering team for 2027. You will contribute to innovative water and wastewater projects, from feasibility through to delivery, under supervision and mentorship.

You will gain structured early career development, hands-on training, and exposure to major utility clients, with opportunities to be based in London, Bristol, or Leeds as part of a national team.

Qualifications

• Minimum BEng in Civil Engineering, preferably with water focus.
• Ambitions to achieve IEng or CEng.
• Some work experience with consultant or contractor is desirable.
• Solid understanding of engineering principles, hydraulic analysis, and water/wastewater processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking analysis and assist in the preparation of designs, drawings, reports and calculations under supervision.
• Assist in the management of projects from feasibility to completion.
• Identify feasible options to deliver wastewater and/or cleanwater schemes across regions in the UK.
• Carry out discrete parcels of work within timescales.
• Attend meetings with senior staff and support site inspections.
