Pick Everard in Glasgow is hiring a Graduate Civil Engineer – Water to join our Water Civil Engineering team. You will contribute to innovative water and wastewater projects for major utility clients, under supervision, and support design, analysis and site activities.

The role offers structured early careers development, mentors, and a path to IEng/CEng. We seek a BEng in Civil Engineering, a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

• BEng in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Ambition to pursue IEng/CEng.
• Some work experience with consultants or contractors is desirable.
• Solid understanding of engineering principles and hydraulics is desirable.
• Familiarity with CAD and health & safety legislation (CDM) is helpful.

Responsabilités

• Undertake analysis and assist in designs, drawings and reports under supervision.
• Assist project management from feasibility to completion, including budgeting.
• Assess options to deliver wastewater and cleanwater schemes across UK regions.
• Carry out work within set timescales and attend meetings with senior staff.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise CAD technicians as required.
• Ensure project delivery meets quality, time and budget targets.
• Adhere to Health & Safety requirements and procedures.
