Qualifications

• Pursuing a Masters in Environmental Science or Water Science.
• Demonstrated proactive mindset.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out fieldwork, including River Condition Surveys as part of Biodiversity Net Gain assessments.
• Assist with Fluvial Audits and Stream Reconnaissance Surveys.
• Assist with river restoration projects.
• Undertake Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Water Framework Directive (WFD) assessments for large infrastructure and flood risk projects.
• Write concise, logical reports including analyses of hydrological datasets and geomorphological assessments.
• Use and analyse various numerical datasets.
• Work in GIS to analyse spatial data.
• Identify potential health and safety hazards on projects; uphold safety for self and others.
