Job summary
Mott MacDonald is seeking a Graduate Wastewater Network Modeller to join the Water Utilities Division. You’ll design and deliver hydraulic models for wastewater networks, addressing CSO performance, flood resilience, and climate challenges.
You'll work within a UK-wide modelling team on national and international water frameworks. You’ll be supported by senior staff, with a three-year early careers development programme and mentorship, plus hybrid working options and strong learning
Qualifications
- Eligible candidate will have a degree in one of the listed disciplines (>= 2025).
- Less than 12 months of relevant experience (excluding placements).
- Demonstrated interest in water engineering and environmental projects.
Responsibilities
- Build and calibrate 1D and 2D hydraulic models.
- Assess and influence CSO activity and operation to meet sector targets.
- Evaluate foul water flooding and wastewater network resilience.
- Develop mitigation solutions and present options to clients.
- Work with industry-standard modelling software, GIS, and coding tools.
- Produce high-quality reports and visualisations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the business.
