Job summary

Join Mott MacDonald as a Graduate Wastewater Network Modeller in the Water Utilities Division, contributing to resilient wastewater networks and major drainage projects. You will work with senior modellers and the national team, gaining exposure to national and international water frameworks.

You will build 1D/2D hydraulic models, influence CSO activity, and develop mitigation solutions. The role supports a three-year soft skills development programme with a mentor, from day one.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a degree in one of the listed disciplines and < 12 months relevant experience (excluding placements).
• Degree obtained no earlier than 2025 or expected to achieve a relevant degree.
• Candidates should demonstrate genuine interest in the opportunity and in joining Mott MacDonald.

Responsibilities

• Build and calibrate 1D and 2D hydraulic models.
• Assess CSO activity and operation to meet sector targets.
• Evaluate foul water flooding and wastewater network resilience.
• Develop mitigation solutions and present options to clients.
• Produce high-quality reports and visualisations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the business.
