Abington Park Vets is a group of small animal practices in Northampton. You will be mainly based at our Abington practice but may be required to work at our other practices. The Abington practice is opposite to a beautiful park, 10-15 minutes from town with good transport links to London.
We have a supportive and friendly team of 16 Vets, including referrals and 20 Nurses. Practice facilities and equipment include visiting MRI, on-site CT, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray and dental room, theatre, comprehensive on-site laboratory with a lab technician, fluoroscopy room, endoscope (rigid & flex), arthroscopy tower, ultrasound machine and so much more.
40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8am – 7pm. You will be part of our Saturday rota working 8am – 1pm. Time is given back in lieu. Weekly or fortnightly rotation between the two sites to get exposure to both the fast-paced hospital with more complex cases and the first opinion type of working environment.
You will be supported by our Clinical Directors, Lead Vet and the Practice Director but the whole team is excellent at supporting one another.
