Delaware Veterinary Group has 2 great practices in Somerset, overseen by the same leadership team. This vacancy is at our Castle Cary branch. Castle Cary is well placed for access to the coast and has good road and rail links to London, Bath and Exeter and beyond!

You will work alongside 7 other small animal Vets. We have a 6 strong nursing support team and 7 non-clinical support team members. Teamwork, sharing information and helping each other is at the centre of our mission.

We work with our clients and their pets to deliver high quality veterinary care on an individual patient basis and have facilities and equipment to support this such as digital radiography including dental, ultrasound, endoscopy and in-house laboratory.

Step into a supportive start

40 hours per week. We divide 40 hours over 5 weekdays and 1:3 Saturday mornings. We facilitate a fixed 1/2 day off every week. Start times will be from 8:30am and finishing time up to 7pm. We do not cover any out of hours emergency work and provide inpatient care overnight only for existing cases currently on a 1:6 rota.

Our coaches and mentors are VetGDP and IVC trained, and we support time for necessary one on one sessions and engage the full team in the development of our graduates during and beyond their IVC Graduate Academy experience.
