Job summary

Arup invites graduates to join the Urban Development and Mobility team, working on strategic, financial and delivery advice for transformative urban projects in the UK and beyond.

You will engage across policy, economic analysis, and governance, supporting clients with a multidisciplinary, integrator mindset in fast-paced, collaborative teams. Start date anticipated for 1 September 2027 with diverse career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Clear interest in projects or policy related to the built environment.
• Interest in policy, economics, strategy and/or market analysis.
• Strong storytelling and communications skills including high-quality visuals and reports.
• Ability to relay and structure information concisely in a team setting.
• Team player with collaboration and political awareness for policy impact.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building business cases, economic appraisal and modelling.
• Support project strategy and client relationship management.
• Contribute to governance, local growth strategies and public–private collaboration.
• Work within integrated project teams on urban development and mobility projects.
• Prepare reports, presentations and data visualisation outputs for clients.
