Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a graduate Transport Planner to join their busy Bath office. The role covers site visits, data collection, traffic assessments, and report writing on private sector developments, from housing to infrastructure.

Candidates with a degree in transport, planning, geography or civil engineering, plus strong analytical ability and UK driving licence, will be preferred. IELTS 8+, EU national or work permit required.

Qualifications

• Degrees covering transport or town and country planning, geography or civil engineering.
• Other analytical disciplines considered with relevant transport planning knowledge.
• Good work-related experience or taught knowledge in transport planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site visits and organise data collection.
• Perform data analysis and trip generation/mode share assessments.
• Prepare drawings for reports and publish planning-stage highway designs.
• Conduct junction assessments and contribute to travel plans.
