Job summary

Arup in Birmingham seeks a graduate transport planner to deliver planning analyses and support strategies for new developments and infrastructure projects. You will work with multidisciplinary teams across planning, design and sustainability to assess movement patterns, travel demand and transport impacts.

We value graduates with strong analytical skills, GIS ability and a passion for sustainable mobility. This role offers formal development, diverse clients and a supportive Early Careers team

Qualifications

• An undergraduate or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• Geography, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Planning, Data Science or Environmental Sciences backgrounds encouraged.
• Recent graduates or on track to graduate before employment start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver transport planning analysis and advice for projects.
• Support transport strategies, policies and business cases.
• Prepare transport inputs for development and infrastructure projects.
• Develop sustainable and inclusive transport solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams across planning, design and engineering.
