Jacobs is inviting applications for its Graduate Transport Planners/Engineers in the UK, based in Birmingham. This two-year Graduate Development Program aims to accelerate your growth through blended learning, mentoring, and real project work across transport planning and mobility solutions.

You'll be supported by a mentor and have opportunities for training, networking, and exposure to industry leaders as you develop skills in policy, modelling, active travel, and placemaking.

Qualifications

• Be working towards a Degree or Master’s level qualification in Transport Planning, Geography, Urban Planning, Economics, Data/Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Civil Engineering, Physics or Natural Sciences
• Hold a keen interest in transport planning and/or traffic engineering topics, such as healthy streets, walking, cycling and public transport planning, transport policy/strategy, transport modelling/appraisal, junction improvement, placemaking etc
• A flexible, proactive mindset and motivation to drive your career forward
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for learning
• Permanent right to work in the UK

Education

Degree or Master’s in Transport Planning or related fields (Geography, Urban Planning, Economics, Data/CS, Mathematics/Statistics, Civil Engineering, Physics, Natural Sciences)
