Amey in Belfast is seeking a Graduate Transport Planner to support a range of transport projects from day one. You will work with senior colleagues to develop plans, assess options and deliver results for clients across the UK.

The role involves development planning, economic appraisal, accessibility improvements and data-driven transport modelling, with a 40-hour week and a September 2027 start date. Training and mentoring are provided within a flexible work framework.

Qualifications

• Degree in Transportation or related field as listed in the posting.
• Commitment to spend a minimum of three days a week in office or on client site.

Responsabilités

• Support development planning by assisting planning applications and infrastructure delivery.
• Build robust business cases and conduct economic analysis for transport investments.
• Assist in people movement and accessibility initiatives to improve inclusivity.
• Help shape strategic advice and transport masterplanning for clients.
• Contribute to modelling, data analysis and evidence-based decision making.

Formation

Transportation related degrees (Transport Planning / Transport Economics)

Engineering degree

Geography or Town Planning degree

Numerate degree (Maths/Physics)
