Job summary

Stantec is offering a 2027 Autumn Graduate Programme in Birmingham for a Graduate Transport Planner. You’ll join a collaborative transport team and work on a range of projects from concept through delivery, gaining exposure to planning, civil engineering and project management disciplines.

You’ll benefit from structured training, mentoring, and clear career progression with support to gain professional accreditation. Office-based four days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Geography / Transport / Engineering / Maths / Economics or related subject.
• Keen interest in the Infrastructure sector.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, office-based graduate environment.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of transport planning projects from inception to completion.
• Assist with Transport Assessments, Statements and Travel Plans.
• Analyse transport and traffic data to inform designs.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations and client deliverables.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and local authorities.
• Support delivery across community developments to major settlements.
