Job summary

AECOM is looking for talented and motivated graduates to join our Highways and Streets practice across the UK and Ireland (UK&I). As the largest dedicated team within the practice in the UK&I, our Belfast team works on a diverse range of projects focused on creating safer, more efficient and sustainable transport networks for communities.

You’ll gain exposure to design, modelling and digital engineering tools, with mentoring from experienced engineers and structured training to build skills in

Qualifications

• BEng or MSc degree in civil/geometry related field with strong academic results.
• Interest in engineering, transport and sustainable networks.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic proficiency in Word and Excel with good report-writing.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team delivering projects.

Responsibilities

• Support development of designs and technical solutions through project stages.
• Attend site visits, meetings and workshops with clients and colleagues.
• Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D and BIM tools to aid design and analysis.
• Develop understanding of digital engineering and prepare technical deliverables.
• Progress to greater responsibilities across project inception to completion.
