Job summary

M-Sport UK is seeking a Graduate Transmissions Engineer to join the Transmissions team at Dovenby Hall. You will gain hands-on experience building, developing and testing high-performance transmission systems for our motorsport programmes.

As a graduate engineer you will support engineering, design and transmissions, contributing to reliability improvements, documentation and system integration on live race projects and simulations.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification in Motorsport/Mechanical/Automotive engineering.
• Motorsport passion and drive to progress in high-performance env.
• Keen to learn and take on new challenges quickly.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a practical approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across departments.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality performance on tight deadlines.
• Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with build, development and testing of high-performance transmission systems.
• Support planning and forecasting to keep projects on track.
• Learn and improve processes across the Transmissions Dept.
• Prepare drawings, specifications and build information for transmissions.
• Conduct quality and build checks to meet standards.
• Track and lifing of transmission components for reliability.
• Analyse and report issues to improve system reliability and performance.
• Support system layout, component selection and integration across programmes.
• Collaborate with technicians, suppliers and multiple departments.
