Job summary

Hughlowefarms is seeking a Graduate Trainee for soft fruit and salad production in Mereworth, Kent. This role offers a 2-year structured training program allowing hands-on experience in crop production, pest management, and team operations.

Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree and a strong interest in fresh produce with responsibilities including overseeing crop cycles and harvest operations. On-site accommodation is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related.
• Genuine interest in commercial crop production.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support all stages of crop production including soil preparation and planting.
• Manage irrigation and fertigation systems.
• Engage in pest and disease management.
