Graduate Trainee Financial Planner - London

Our client is seeking a recent graduate to join as a Trainee Financial Planner at their London office. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain comprehensive experience and work towards becoming a fully qualified Financial Planner. The trainee will support the delivery of high-quality, independent client services.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files.
  2. Updating back office systems (Adviser Office).
  3. Gathering data for net worth statements and investment recommendations.
  4. Assisting in drafting reports to ensure quality and timeliness.
  5. Preparing for and minuting client and prospect meetings.
  6. Getting exposure to the full investment advice process.
  7. Following a structured training and exam program aiming for a Diploma in Financial Planning with the CII.
  8. Understanding company procedures and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  9. Demonstrating analytical skills with a technical approach.
  10. Showing drive, determination, and a proactive attitude.
  11. Being flexible and able to work under pressure.
  12. Exhibiting excellent communication skills as a team player.
