Job summary

Howden Group is recruiting a 2027 Graduate Trainee Actuarial Consultant - Retirement for Guildford. You’ll gain early client exposure and comprehensive training across actuarial and retirement consulting, supported by study leave and mentors to help you complete IFoA exams.

Qualifications

• No experience required; we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
• Minimum 2:1 degree, A at A-Level or Higher Maths and Level 6 at GCSE English Language or B at Scottish National 5 (or equivalent).
• Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist actuarial teams with retirement-related services and reports.
• Support client work and participate in training to develop technical and consulting skills.
• Engage in data processing, validation, and contributing to client meetings.
• Develop communication and problem-solving capabilities across projects.
