Job summary

KPI Education is recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support pupils across English, Maths, Science and Humanities in secondary schools around Merton. The role starts in September and offers exposure to multiple subjects and departments.

You will deliver small-group interventions, assist with lesson delivery, and help build confidence and attainment as you prepare for teacher training.

Qualifications

• 2:1 or above in English, Maths, Science or a Humanities subject; 2:2 considered with strong experience.
• Genuine passion for education and commitment to training as a teacher.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with pupils across KS3 & KS4.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in your specialist subject across KS3 & KS4.
• Deliver intervention sessions to small groups and individual students.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom delivery.
• Build confidence and attainment in your subject area.
