Job summary

KPI Education is partnered with high-performing Lambeth secondary schools recruiting graduates to become Graduate Teaching Assistants this September. The role spans English, Maths, Science and Humanities, with a starting salary of £25,000–£30,000 annually.

A 2:1 or better in a relevant subject is preferred, with strong passion for education and a path to teacher training. The position offers excellent training, mentoring from experienced teachers, and potential salaried teacher training

Qualifications

• A 2:1 or above in English, Maths, Science or a Humanities subject (2:2 considered with strong experience).
• A genuine passion for education and working with young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ambition to train as a teacher in the future.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• The right to work in the UK (sponsorship unavailable).

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in your specialist subject across KS3 & KS4.
• Deliver intervention sessions to small groups and individual students.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom delivery.
• Build confidence, engagement and attainment in your subject area.
• Become an integral member of a successful secondary school department.
• Gain valuable classroom experience before progressing into teacher training.

Graduate Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
