Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistants to support students and teachers across several client secondary schools in South & East Manchester. You will play a vital role in assisting lessons, supporting reading, writing, speaking and listening, and helping pupils achieve learning objectives.

This role starts in November and runs full-time until July 2027, 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday. A degree in any subject is required; experience with secondary students is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Degree in any subject.
• Experience with secondary school students is beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS check required; full assistance provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide one-on-one support to students needing extra help.
• Conduct small group activities to reinforce learning objectives.
• Mark student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Support reading, writing, speaking and listening development.
• Collaborate with teachers to create lesson resources.
• Promote a positive classroom learning environment.
