Job summary

Senploy is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in South East London. The role offers full-time, term-time only employment and provides hands-on classroom experience for graduates aiming to train as teachers.

You will support KS3/KS4 students across multiple subjects, provide 1:1 and small group interventions, and assist with lesson delivery and classroom management in a dynamic school environment.

Qualifications

• Holds a degree in any subject and shows a genuine interest in education or becoming a teacher.
• Ready to support pupils across KS3/KS4 and assist with lesson delivery.
• Able to build relationships with students and communicate effectively.
• Resilient and able to work in a fast-paced school environment.

Responsibilities

• Support students across KS3 and KS4 in a range of subjects.
• Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to boost attainment.
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Support pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD and SEMH.
• Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Gain valuable experience ahead of teacher training or PGCE.
