Job summary

A vibrant primary school in Wandsworth is looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs, starting ASAP or in September 2025. • A caring and empathetic individual with a strong commitment to improving the educational experience of children with SEN.
• Previous experience in a school or similar setting is preferred, but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Academics is currently recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants for exciting opportunities at a welcoming primary school in Wandsworth. This two-form entry school offers a supportive staff community and a well-structured curriculum spanning Early Years through to Year 6.

• Position; Graduate Teaching Assistant
• ASAP Start or September 2025 start
• Primary school based in Wandsworth
• £90-£110 per day
• Full time, Monday to Friday 8:30am-4pm
  
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children with a range of special educational needs in both individual and group settings
• Assist the class teacher in implementing tailored learning programs
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment to help students thrive academically and socially
• Provide one-on-one support and adapt resources to suit individual learning needs
  
  
  

Requirements:

• A caring and empathetic individual with a strong commitment to improving the educational experience of children with SEN
• Previous experience in a school or similar setting is preferred, but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, patient, and flexible approach to challenges
