STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant: Person Specification
STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant – Ideal candidates will have achieved a 2:1 or higher in a STEM degree (e.g. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field)
• Experience working with young people is advantageous but not essential
• A proactive, flexible attitude with a genuine passion for STEM education
• Ability to build strong relationships with students and contribute positively to their learning

• Deliver 1-1 and small group support sessions across the STEM subjects for KS3, KS4, and Sixth Form students
• Develop students' engagement and confidence through interactive and tailored support in Science, Maths, and related areas
• Assist in-class with lesson delivery, helping teachers bring complex STEM concepts to life
• Plan and lead targeted tutoring sessions in your subject specialism
• Take part in weekly training and development workshops to build your knowledge of educational practice and pedagogy

This STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant role is full-time. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm during term-time, following the school calendar.
