Dean Close Foundation is looking to appoint a new cohort of Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTA) starting in September 2025, who are seeking to start a career in teaching or sports coaching. Under the line management of the Assistant Head Co-Curricular, the GTA role is pivotal in providing sporting and academic support for pupils, a top-class evening and weekend activity programme, contributing to the academic life of the school, and being an integral part of the boarding community. The successful candidates will be qualified to degree level and have a passion for starting their career in teaching or sports coaching. Previous experience in boarding school life would be advantageous; however, this is not essential.

The Foundation Dean Close Foundation is a growing, vibrant, and diverse family of independent schools and nurseries, uniting around a shared vision and set of values.
