Hours: Monday to Friday (typically 8:30am – 3:30pm)

Twenty4Seven Education are seeking a full-time dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join one of our vibrant and inclusive secondary schools from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring education professionals to develop their skills and make a real difference in students’ lives in a long-term role.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Safeguard pupils’ well-being by following relevant statutory guidance along with school policies, procedures and practice
  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across a range of subjects and year groups (KS3 & KS4)
  • Support students on a whole class/small group/one-on-one basis to enhance learning outcomes
  • Provide pupils with feedback on their progress where appropriate
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, focused learning environment
  • Be a positive role model and uphold the school’s values and expectations
  • Communicate effectively with students and staff

About You:

  • Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
  • Good Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills
  • A positive, proactive and resilient attitude
  • Previous experience working with children and/or young people
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Satisfactory references covering the last 2 years
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child/Child & Adult) on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
  • A recent graduate (any subject welcome)
