Spend up to a year in a school in Bridgwater, developing your confidence, skills, and understanding of teaching — before committing to a formal training route like PGCE or Schools Direct.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into classrooms across a secondary school in Bridgwater, taking on responsibilities such as:

  • Supervising students during teacher absences
  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons
  • Managing classroom behaviour
  • Supporting pupils with their learning
  • Observing and learning from experienced teachers

No planning or marking is required — giving you space to focus on classroom presence and student engagement.
