Kickstart Your Teaching Career in Bournemouth – Future Teachers Programme

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education? Looking for hands-on classroom experience before pursuing formal teacher training? Teaching Personnel’s Future Teachers Programme in Bournemouth offers the perfect opportunity to gain valuable experience while getting paid.

What is the Future Teachers Programme?

This programme is designed for aspiring teachers who want to develop classroom confidence, gain insight into the profession, and build essential skills before embarking on a PGCE or other teacher training.

Your Role as a Future Teacher

As part of the programme, you’ll work as a Cover Supervisor in a Bournemouth secondary school, leading pre-set lessons in the absence of teachers. While you won’t be responsible for planning or marking, you’ll be expected to:

• Supervise students and manage classroom behaviour
• Ensure students remain engaged with lesson materials
• Gain hands-on experience in a school setting
• Start Date: September 2025
• Practical experience before starting a PGCE
• Earn a salary while training
• Access to discounted CPD courses
• Gain insight into classroom management and school policies
