Job summary

Saffery is seeking ambitious individuals to join as trainees studying towards the ACA/CTA joint qualification. The three-year and three-month training contract includes full support and access to top tuition centres as you learn on the job and take on more complex work.

Open to graduates and career changers with no required prior work experience, the programme offers exposure to diverse clients and sectors, and mentorship throughout your development.

Qualifications

• 2:1 undergraduate degree in any discipline.
• 120 UCAS points from top 3 A Levels/Highers.
• GCSE Maths and English at least 6/B.
• AAT Level 4 qualification is welcome.
• No prior relevant work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tax returns, computations and other compliance filings for a range of clients.
• Work with financial and client data to support reporting, analysis and submissions.
• Use specialist software and systems to deliver high-quality tax work.
• Carry out technical research and support client projects, queries and advisory work.
• Prepare reports, calculations and documentation for review by senior colleagues.
• Build relationships with clients and colleagues while gaining exposure to a variety of industries and sectors.
• Contribute to delivering accurate, practical solutions that help clients meet their tax obligations and achieve their goals.
