Job summary

Saffery is inviting ambitious graduates and career changers to join our trainee programme in Corporate Tax. You’ll study towards the ACA/CTA joint qualification while gaining hands-on tax experience across diverse client groups.

The three-year programme includes mentoring, a structured development plan, and access to leading tuition centres. We welcome applicants with 2:1 degrees and UCAS points, and we provide a supportive path to qualification and career growth at Saffery.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and analytical ability, with a keen eye for accuracy.
• Ability to learn and apply tax knowledge across client work.
• Clear verbal and written communication, with collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tax returns, computations and other compliance filings for a range of clients.
• Work with financial and client data to support reporting, analysis and submissions.
• Use specialist software and systems to deliver high-quality tax work.
• Carry out technical research and support client projects, queries and advisory work.
• Prepare reports, calculations and documentation for review by senior colleagues.
• Build relationships with clients and colleagues while gaining exposure to various industries.
• Contribute to delivering accurate, practical solutions that help clients meet their tax obligations.
