Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support learning across Key Stage 1/2 in Greenwich, SE London. The role is long term/permanent with Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm, and involves 1:1 work with a child with ASD. In your second year you can apply for schools direct teacher training to gain QTS.

Salary will be determined by qualifications and experience in line with the school's pay policy. This is a strong stepping stone into teacher training.

Qualifications

• A degree 2:1 or higher is preferred and desirable.
• Experience working with children is desirable (childcare, tutoring, nursery, sport, etc.).
• In second year, opportunity to apply for teacher training (QTS).
• Experience working with a child with ASD is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a child with ASD.
• Support learning across Key Stage 1 and 2.
• Assist class teacher and contribute to overall learning environment.
